Averaging One Redux

Last month I made a comment about the questionable sorting user ratings in the post: Averaging One. Today, Aleks at Statistical Modeling came to the rescue with "Bayesian sorting by rank." (Thanks, Alex! Now I have one less puzzle to think about.)
