If I stumble onto a convergence of image processing and machine learning, you're going to see it here. Interesting idea. Peekaboom. Researchers at CMU create a game for people to play for the sake of acquiring training data for image segmentation algorithms. Found this one via del.icio.us, but I also just noticed that Machine Learning (Theory) covered it last August.
