Fessin's of a [would be] Ad Man...

Lately, there's been a lot of great advertising going on...

I love The Martin Agency's Geico Caveman, of which one of the most recent, Caveman at the Airport, includes Royksopp's excellent Remind Me. (Also, here's a link to the very cool video of a more techno-esque remix: link).

TBWA/Chiat/Day's "Mac vs. PC" ads have been some the best of the decade. Cramer-Krasselt keeps cranking out one hilarious CareerBuilder.com ad after another.

And if you're trying to figure out who sings the tune that begins "I say and so say I..." in the latest J.C. Penney ad, the song is How Can it Be by the Australian group Forever Thursday.

Bravo to all!

Until I'm proven wrong, I'm going to claim I'm the only computer science major who ever considered switching to advertising :)

More on that song from the J C Penney ad
"Forever Thursday" is a total original. The song "How can it be" was created and then picked up for the JC Penney campaign. Its available on itunes.
Melanie Horsnell the aussie singer has her debut album now available on USA itunes and Aussie itunes called "The adventures of..."

I can tell you Melanie has been singing and playing guitar since age 6 and writes and performs her music regularly on stages around Australia, Asia and Europe.
