Trivial observations

The local coffee shop offers a ten cent discount to anyone who correctly answers a daily trivia question etched on a chalkboard.

Lately, this hasn't been going very well. Friday, it was the complementary color of blue. I answered with yellow. The girl behind the counter insisted it was red. Oh well, only a dime.

Today's question: "Who introduced chocolate to the Europeans?"
I answered "Aztecs."
The girl behind the counter: "No, it was Christopher Columbus."
Me: "But Christopher Columbus and his company were Europeans."
"Man, I just work here..."

I'm feeling apprehensive about tomorrow's question.

Mayans is probably a better answer.

Actually, it kinda depends on whom you ask. If we talk about additive color (mixing light), yellow is red + green and usually considered the complement of blue. However, if we talk about subtractive color (mixing paint), then you're just as likely to get an answer of orange from painters and interior designers.
